The Bismarck Police Department is again warning residents of scam calls circulating that threaten legal action or arrest if the person does not return a call.

“These are NOT legitimate calls and are in no way affiliated with local law enforcement,” the department notes in a post on its Facebook page. “We ask that you report these numbers and calls to the ND Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division at: https://attorneygeneral.nd.gov/consumer-resources/consumer-complaints/general-complaint.”
