The latest airline passenger figures are available – and they show another dip at nearly every commercial airport in the state.
Bismarck International Airport was the lone bright spot on September’s report from the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission – showing an increase of nearly 8 percent compared to September of last year.
But the commercial airports in Minot, Williston, Dickinson, Grand Forks, and Fargo all reported fewer passengers last month.
In total, 78,698 people boarded commercial planes in September – about 7,500 fewer than September of 2015.
