Minot State University officials are warning students about a scam email that is going around.
They say the scam looks like it is coming from the Financial Aid Office for the “bank of america”. The subject line of the scam reads “PENDING DEPOSIT” and the body of the email states that a credit will be deposited to your account if you click accept. The Financial Aid office at Minot State says this is not coming from them.
They urge students not to click on the confirm deposit button.
