Bismarck Police Department is saying there’s a possible connection between six reports of vandalism over the weekend.
On September 14th, sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., the glass backboard to a basketball hoop was completely destroyed at a residence at the 600 block of Mustang Dr. It caused a total of $1,000 damage. According to Bismarck P.D., there is a small hole in the upper right corner of the glass consistent with a small caliber rifle or weapon.
That same evening, Booming Nutrition on 625 S. Washington reports $200 damage to a window consistent with a BB gun.
On September 16th, 6:19 p.m., a resident reports the rear window of their 2007 Town and Country van was shot out with a BB gun causing $750 damage.
Then at 9:44 p.m. on the 16th, IRET Properties reports $350 worth of damage to a glass door window, but there is no indication of how it was broken or if it was intentional.
Not too long after, Coffee Break on Main reported a broken window causing $1,000 worth of damage. A witness states they saw a group of intoxicated people walk past the store and breaking the window. However, there are still no suspects.
Lastly, sometime between September 16th at 10:30 p.m. and September 17th at 11:20 a.m. the driver-side window to a van parked on the 700 block of S. 16th street was broken. The owner states it caused $250 damage.
Each incident is under investigation with no suspects or leads.
