National Guard Soldiers Return Home from Afghanistan

BISMARCK, ND – 60 National Guard Soldiers return to Bismarck after 10 months in Afghanistan.

About 60 North Dakota Army National Guard Soldiers with the Bismarck-based 136th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB) has landed on U.S. soil

In Afghanistan, the Soldiers provided command and control structure for assigned or attached logistical units. The Soldiers now are traveling to Fort Hood, Texas, to conduct their demobilization.

They will now have demobilization briefings, healthcare checks and paperwork at Fort Hood before returning to North Dakota mid-month.
