Due to high winds and winter conditions Thursday and Friday, the North Dakota Highway Patrol is urging all motorists to use caution when traveling.

During inclement weather, high-profile vehicles have restricted travel. North Dakota law restricts movement for these vehicles because they may swerve, whip, sway, or fail to follow in the path of the towing vehicle.

Commercial motor vehicles must reduce speeds, and if conditions worsen, a no travel advisory may be issued.
