NDSU Nursing Program in Bismarck is in Danger of Closing

News
Some students who might have to look elsewhere are right here in Bismarck.
NDSU’s nursing program is in jeopardy because of budget cuts.
We received an email from a local nursing student today.
It was sent by NDSU President Dean Bresciani.
All members of the program are being told that because of funding cuts, an estimated 3.5 million dollars in operating funds from the budget, the program may end at the end of this semester.
In other words 257 students 17 of which are Doctor of Nursing Practices students would be without a program and about 18 faculty and staff will be terminated.
This would only happen if the Higher Education bill passes as it stands.
