No more slow internet for North Dakota Schools.

Today, the governor announced the state will be the new leader in the nation, in high speed internet. All public schools and government agencies will be increasing speeds by 10 to a 100 times. It’s expected to be fully implemented before the 2019 school year begins.

“You could have all 100,000 kids in our state accessing 2 to 3 minute every day as part of their cirriculum in the next few years as a source of real-time information for them whether is a project or research or whether it’s how to solve a math problem,” said Governor Doug Burgum.

The upgrades to the sytem are cost-neutral, meaning there’s no added expense to taxpayers.
