North Dakota celebrates its 129th birthday

On Friday, North Dakota celebrates its 129th birthday.

President Benjamin Harrison signed the statehood proclamations of the Dakotas on November 2, 1889. 
Residents share there thoughts on why they love this state.

“What I love about North Dakota is it’s home. I can leave the state but always make it back somehow,” resident, Nicci Johnson said.

“I like the people, they are nice and they are conservatives and stuff,” resident, Kevin Cuba said. 

“I guess the beauty of it all. You have your spring, your summer, your fall and winter, and you just cant beat it,” resident, Todd Reinhardt said.
