North Dakotan Wins the Price is Right

It’s not every day someone wins a popular daytime game show but one North Dakotan did.
Bismarck local, Gwen Kreft, won the Price is Right’s showcase showdown.
Kreft told KX she’s been keeping this a secret now for almost 2 months and, it hasn’t been easy.
She told us that never in a million years would she have thought she would have won.
She said each showcase related to something she had experienced in her life.
Kreft says after announcing her win, the feedback has been incredible.
Gwen Kreft/Price is Right:  “My day of winning on The Price is Right was one of the best days ever, but when I started getting all of the support and heartwarming messages from people on Facebook that was a better day. Yesterday was almost a better day than the day I won all those prizes.”

Kreft won a record player, 2 headsets, 10 country albums, a Bayliner boat, and a complete kitchen appliance set. Here winnings all totaled up to almost 28-thousand dollars.
She told us she only has one request left.

Gwen Kreft/Price is Right: “I would just like to say Seth, I expect you to take me fishing in my new boat. Love you!”

Seth is her son, by the way.
And, she gave us some advice,  if you’re ever on a game show, you need to have the perfect amount of energy and charisma.
