The month of March didn’t have the best weather –stalling oil production — down 13-thousand barrels per day.
The price in March was just under 51-dollars a barrel.
And pipeline exports decreased due to market values.
Natural gas production is out pacing oil production – with increasing gas capture rates.
Lynns Helms, NDIC Department of Mineral Resources, says,”So I expect to see a lot of pipeline crews and a lot of compression construction. A lot of natural gas plant construction out in western North Dakota communities. That’s going to bring a lot of our out of state workers back.”

Record breaking numbers are forecasted for the month of June — With oil at 59-dollars a barrel–it’s high enough to stimulate more activity.
