Oil production drops below one million barrels

North Dakota Oil production drops below one million barrels a day for the first time in over two years.

The most recent production statistics come from August, and show 981,039 barrels of oil a day were produced. 

It’s the first month below the one million mark since March of 2014. 

Production peaked in December of that year before oil prices fell by more than half in the following months.
