The Mandan Police Department still needs help finding a person they think may be involved in a shooting.
On December 8th, officers from the Mandan Police Department responded to a shots fired call on 1st Street Northwest in Mandan.
One individual was shot and transported to Sanford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by private citizen and has since been released.
The day after the shooting, Mandan Police said they were looking for Samuel Nichols and Shannon Gerber as individuals they wanted to interview in relation to the shooting.
Today, December 12th, Mandan P.D. was able to speak to Nichols with the help of another law enforcement agency. After speaking with Nichols, the Mandan P.D. concluded he had no involvement with this incident.
They are still looking to speak with Shannon Gerber.
At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Mandan Police are still actively investigating.
