OnStar used to help Police find stolen vehicle


Around 9:45 a.m. Monday, September 11th, a 2016 GMC Sierra Pickup truck was stolen from Riverwood Golf Course. 

A 48-year-old Bismarck man reported the crime.

Bismarck Police used OnStar and located the vehicle at the South Holiday Gas Station in Bismarck. 

Footage from the gas station showed two males exiting the stolen vehicle. 

Those two males were taken into custody. A 23-year-old man was placed under arrest for theft of a motor vehicle. His passenger, a 25-year-old Ft. Yates resident was taken to the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Office and detained for two outstanding warrants.
