You don’t routinely see “lost dog” reports on the news.
But tonight, we have the story of two lost dogs whose owner thinks were stolen, and she’s hoping someone can help her solve the mystery.
Breeann Sorenson says her two golden retrievers were taken from the family’s ranch three miles south of Ross on Tuesday afternoon.
She says the dogs have never-before wandered away but, rather, are always in the yard or with family members as they tend to horses and cattle on their land in Mountrail County.
She and one of her sons talked with us about the missing animals.
(Breeann Sorenson, Ross Rancher) “I’m worried that they were maybe out by the road and somebody saw them and took off with them. One of them has collars with tags on it from our vet clinic, the other one doesn’t because my son doesn’t keep it on there but one of them does with the Powers Lake Vet Clinic on it.”
(Teegan Sorenson) “We play house and dogs and I always be the baby dog.”
Again, the Sorensons believe someone stole their two golden retrievers and are hoping someone might have seen something around their ranch three miles south of Ross on Tuesday afternoon.
