The department of human services just gave one of their websites a makeover, hoping to give parents easy-to-find resources when it comes to their child’s mental and behavioral health.

As school starts in the next few weeks, human services say this was the perfect time to debut the new look for their site. On you’ll find three categories, offering information for parents, professionals, and the community. Under each category, you can select a topic, or area of concern, filled with tips on ways to help your children.

Laura Anderson; Human Services: “Parents lead was initially developed to be focused on underage drinking prevention. The enhancement has really broadened the scope of parents lead to provide resources to parents for the whole behavioral health spectrum.”

Parents lead also has a Facebook, instagram, and YouTube page. To go to the Parents Lead website, click here.
