Bismarck, ND – If you rely on SNAP, you will get your February benefits at a different time because of the government shutdown.
Your February benefits will be posted to your E-B-T card on or before January 20th.
If your eligibility is determined after that date, you will get your benefits on February first.
The director of Burleigh County Social Services says to be sure and budget these benefits carefully.
“That has to last them through the whole month of February, and we’re unsure of March. If the government shutdown continues on, we’ll see what happens in March,” Burleigh County Social Services Director Kim Osadchuk.
She said if food does run out, you can utilize your food pantries as much as possible.
