With important items missing from the Minot Air Force Base – some people are left feeling concerned.
KX News spoke to people about how they feel about their northerly neighbors and the missing grenades and machine gun.
We learned that many still have confidence in the base and feel safe having them here.
But, others are frustrated that this happened in the first place.
“I feel sorry for the guy who lost it but I think they’re trying to get it back and I think they need to for our safety and their own,” said Jessie Ketteman.
“I’m not too sure why those are missing but I imagine they’ll figure that out,” said Keny Bougard.
“I think that accidents do happen but that shouldn’t of happened in the first place. I don’t know who’s in charge of it but they should be held accountable,” said Thomas Lipsey.
The Minot Air Force Base has been part of the community for around 50 years.
