North Dakota’s pheasant opener is less than two weeks away.

The season opens October 7th and goes through January 7th.

This year’s pheasant opener is a little earlier than year’s past due to a bill passed by the North Dakota legislature requiring pheasant hunting season to open no later than October 12th.

Shooting hours are one-half hour before sunrise to sunset. The daily limit is three and possession limit is 12.
