A plea deal to settle nine felony and six misdemeanor counts against a Minot man was rejected by a district judge today.
Attorneys for the state and for Paul Henrikson told Judge Doug Mattson they had reached an agreement where Henrikson would serve two years in prison and be on probation for three years.
But Judge Mattson interrupted the announcement of the deal, saying he would not agree to concurrent sentences on charges stemming from different incidents on different dates.
Henrikson is charged with crimes that happened in March, April, and October of last year.
The attorneys said they would work on a different deal and come back to Mattson in April.
