Police say no sign of mountain lion in north Bismarck

News

Bismarck Police say they received their second report of a mountain lion sighting in north Bismarck, in the past week.
The sighting today was near Ash Coulee Road close to the water tower.


BPD and Animal Control says they were unable to find any signs of a mountain lion in the area.
There was a mountain lion sighting near Hay Creek in north Bismarck a week ago.


Police says keep vigilant, however—they want to stress, there has not been a confirmed sighting.
They believe there is no risk to residents in the area.
 

Parents are advised that they should take whatever precautions they feel necessary in regards to their children playing outside or walking to school.  Home owners with small pets are advised to take whatever precautions they feel are necessary to keep their pets safe.
