To motivate elementary school students, the Glenburn elementary principal got to give a pig a smooch.
He challenged about one-hundred thirty Kindergarten through sixth graders to a read-a-thon.
The students had to read forty-thousand minutes in one month and if they achieved it, they got to choose what the principal did.
They decided that they wanted him to kiss a pig in front of the whole school.
“I’ll do it for them. If it gets them more motivated then I don’t mind kissing a pig to get that motivation out of them,” said Chris Doane, Glenburn Elementary Principal.
The principal also promised to dress in a chicken suit and do the chicken dance in the school hallways.
