Protesters at Backwater Bridge

Early this morning, protesters gathered at the Backwater Bridge barricade. 
According to the Morton County Sheriff’s office at about 2:45 a.m. about 50 protesters arrived at the bridge.
They were seen removing security wire from the barricade on the north end of the bridge. 
Morton County said they disregarded orders leave and that 10 of the protesters had hand-held shields. 
Others were observed carrying knives, hatchets and chains. 
According to Morton County, the protesters stayed in the area, yelling at the officers but by 3:45 a.m. all of them had left the bridge. 
No arrests were made during this incident, however 2 arrests were today at Turtle Hill.
