Moorhead, MN (WDAY/WDAY News) – A local campus is investigating a racist and political sign left outside a dorm room.
It took place over the last few days at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
The note reads “Trump Hates the “N” word” on a whiteboard.
It has since been erased.
The president of the Black Student Union tells WDAY it was left outside a black student’s dorm.
University officials say they are aware of the note and are concerned about its rhetoric.
They have spoken with the student whose dorm it was left at, who told them he or she does not feel threatened.
The university is now working with student government to promote respect on campus.
Officials also plan to send out an email concerning the note in the next few days.
