North Dakota ranks in the top 15 when it comes to the best states in which to live.
That’s according to a data survey by financial website 24/7 Wall St.
To identify America’s best states to live in, 24/7 ranked states on an index of three factors: Life expectancy at birth, percentage of bachelor’s degrees among adult and the state’s poverty rate.
24/7 notes those three factors together are seen as an effective way to sum up the quality of life in a state in terms of health and prosperity.
Based on that data, North Dakota comes in at number 14 on the list.
According to 24/7, North Dakota has had the second highest population increase over the past decade (18 percent), the second lowest unemployment rate in the nation (2.6 percent), a low poverty rate at 10.3 percent and a high life expectancy rate at 80 years.
