(WKBN) – Payless ShoeSource will be closing all of its U.S. stores, according to business news organization Reuters.

Reuters said the company will file for bankruptcy later this month — the second time in two years — and close all 2,300 locations.

Payless has eight stores in our area.

The report said the company is preparing to sell off all of its inventory.

There are six Payless ShoeSource’s in North Dakota. Bismarck, Minot, Grand Forks and Fargo all have one. There is a Payless located in Shopko in Stanley and Beulah.
