A local restaurant in Dickinson is celebrating an anniversary that is longer than most marriages.
The Country Kitchen restaurant is 45-years -old this week.
To celebrate, they are giving away .45 cent pancakes, coffee, and holding drawings for Country Kitchen merchandise and free meals.
Over the years, they have been known for their signature skillets and classic pancakes.
However, the owner attributes the success of the restaurant to its homestyle cooking and a close relationship with it’s customers.
” The staff and customers . . . is like . . . we make it a home. It kinda overflows to the customers. They love to see us laughing and being joyous in our work,” said Marlo Nelson, Owner Country Kitchen Cafe.
On the Friday, the Country Kitchen restaurant will end the week long celebration by giving away a grill to some lucky customer.
