Citizens in Minot will have the opportunity to ride transit for a free all of next week.

This the third year the city has offered ride transit free week.
The goal is to showcase the public transportation system in place.
Currently the city of Minot offers 6 bus routes that can take you from the North end of town to the South end.
You don’t need anything to ride next week — just hop on and hop off as you please.

“It’s a nice way to thank our loyal riders for riding –we give them a week where they don’t have to pay for their rides and then it also gives a chance for people who may be interested just to see where they can go what they can do –what kind service we can provide for them to be able to jump on and take a ride around town and check things out,” said superintendent of transit for the city of Minot Brian Horinka.

Busses operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
