The Missouri River has risen overnight –
As of this morning – it sits at 13.4 feet that’s up from last night’s reading of 13.16

We are still in the action stage.
Minor flood stage is 14.5 feet.

Hydrologist Allen Schlag says this rise is directly due to last nights rains.
He says beyond what fell directly on the river, the rain also drained quickly into the river to help that rise.
Schlag says we can expect the river to drop soon, as this will be a short lived rise.
