Robots are becoming a bigger part of our lives.
You might have one cleaning your floors – and some of the products you buy were assembled by robots.

Tonight, a local robotics league was at the Magic City Discovery Center showing off the abilities of the robots they’ve made.

The teams were hosting the first Lego League Robotics regional qualifying tournament next month and tonight was a bit of a preview of that competition.

(Brayden Baldwin, “Electronic Chargers”) “There’s this one challenge that I know we’ll be able to do. We just have to go forward to the toilet type thing and we have to make our arm go down and just flush the toilet.”
(Is there anything your robot does that you think is really fun?
(Madi Giffey, “Masked Water Bots”) “It goes forward, turns, and then it does – let’s just say it does a lot of spinning.”

The Lego League Robotics regional tournament will be held January 20th on the campus of Minot State University.
