A local organization is continuing to give free dental services to kids in need.
The Ronald Mcdonald House is providing a mobile dental clinic to children throughout Western north dakota.
It started in 2012 and they’ve already treated 7 thousand kids.
They provide exams, fillings, and cleanings for people up to the age of 22.
Organizers say no child is turned away and dental care is a strong need in the community.
Kathy Keiser, the Executive Director, says “If a child is in dental pain, they probably are not eating properly and may not be sleeping properly. Because of that they can not do well in school and can not flourish. Our goal is to turn them into good oral health patients. “
Each week the mobile dental trucks goes to selected schools that qualify.
