Santa at the Dakota Zoo

Kids and their families got a chance to meet Santa at the Dakota Zoo.

They were able to take a picture with Santa and enjoy story time with Saint Nick.
Organizers say it is a memorable time for kids, and their families to be able to relax and enjoy themselves during the holidays.
This event is a fundraiser for the Dakota Zoo, and the money is going towards taking care of the animals.

“It goes towards feeding and veterinarian care. Let’s say we get a really bad snow storm that nocks down exhibit fences and we have to repair, then that would help some of the cost. It’s not a really big dent, but any little bit helps and the people here in Bismarck loves Dakota Zoo,” said Colleen Mclaughlin, Education and Volunteer Coordinator at the Dakota Zoo.

The event continue Sunday and next Saturday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
