Saturday’s Weather 5/13


A low pressure system is currently over Montana, it will be sweeping over North Dakota through the overnight hours. As the low comes through, there is a chance of an isolated severe thunderstorm possible. The biggest threat of severe weather will likely be small hail for the western region tonight. It will be moving to the northeast heading further into the night. A cold front will also be passing through. This will be driving temperatures down into the 70s for tomorrow. There will also be a series of rain showers, off and on, throughout the week. A few days will have a chance of thunderstorms and breezy conditions. Among rain chances, the temperatures will likely be cooling down. Heading into Thursday and Friday, expect the temperatures to only be in the 50s. Average temperatures for this time of year is in the mid 60s for a high and lows in the lower 40s. 

Tonight, thunderstorms and rain showers in the west overnight, otherwise, a partly cloudy sky. Winds southeast at 5-15 mph. Lows in the mid to upper 40s. Chance of rain 50%.
Sunday, a partly cloudy sky and highs in the lower to mid 70s. Winds still breezy at 15-25 mph and gusting to 30 mph, from the northwest.
Sunday night, increasing clouds and a few showers possible in the south. Winds northwest/east at 5-10 mph. Lows around 50 degrees. Chance of rain 20%.
Monday, morning showers in the south, otherwise a mostly cloudy sky. Winds east at 5-10 mph. Highs in the upper 60s. Chance of rain 30%.
Monday night, a 50% chance of rain showers and thunderstorms. Winds east/northeast at 5-10 mph. Lows in the mid 40s.
