Saturday’s Weather 5/27

Rain showers are currently moving to the southeast. There is a lot of wind associated with this system as gusts are near 50 mph ahead of the rain showers. There has not been a whole lot of lightning with these showers, the big story are the wind gusts. It will likely move out by 11 pm tonight, but a mostly cloudy sky does remain and the Saturday night low temperature is expected to be right around average, in the mid 40s. There can be another chance of rain showers/thunderstorms for Sunday and Monday, including windy conditions. Memorial day will have gusts nearing 40 mph and sustained around 20-30 mph. As far temperatures go, it will be mainly on either side of 70 degrees on Sunday, then Monday will be slightly cooler, into the lower 60s for most. The winds will finally die down on Wednesday and temperatures become much warmer. By the end of the work week there are 80s in the forecast and relatively dry conditions with a lot of sunshine!

Tonight, a few lingering rain showers possible, otherwise, mostly clear. Lows in the mid 40s and winds northwest/west at 5-15 mph.

Sunday, a partly cloudy sky with a few rain showers possible. It will be windy with gusts nearing 40 mph and sustained from the northwest at 20-30 mph. Highs on either side of 70 degrees.

Sunday night, partly cloudy and a few showers possible. Lows in the mid 40s with a northwest wind at 5-15 mph.

Memorial Day, mostly sunny with few clouds throughout the day. Winds will likely be gusting to near 40 mph and sustained from the northwest at 20-30 mph. Highs in the mid to lower 60s.

Monday night, lows in the mid to lower 40s along with a clear sky and winds breezy, from the northwest.
