The search will resume Tuesday for a 41-year-old man missing since Sunday after the JetSki he was believed to have been piloting turned up empty on Lake Sakakawea.
Mountrail County Sheriff Ken Halvorson reports the man was boating with another personal watercraft but the two parted ways.
Then, on Sunday morning, the empty JetSki was found and reported near Four Bears Bridge, just west of New Town.
Searchers looked on the lake from the bridge to Reunion Bay on Sunday and then searched several more hours Monday.
They are due to resume searching Tuesday morning.
Officials say the missing man was not wearing a life vest while piloting the watercraft.
