Seeing Pink

An annual effort to support cancer survivors is hitting high gear.
The Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign is underway in Minot.

It’s a fund-raiser for the Trinity Cancer Care Center to provide scholarships to cancer patients in rehab.
This year, Prairie Federal Credit Union is hosting a special raffle – where you can register for various prizes, from cash to meals to gift baskets.
Each chance costs a dollar – so you can donate as much as you like and increase your chances of winning the item you want.

(Beth Nelson, Prairie Federal Credit Union) “We do have a lot of different businesses in the community that help out with that. For instance High Air Ground is one of the ones that donated a big birthday package. Without that help it wouldn’t be possible to have all that. So it is a big project but the end result of course is fantastic for the program.”

The Tough Enough to Wear Pink program has raised funds to allow hundreds of people to receive low-cost or free rehab in their recovery from cancer.
