Family, church, and food all play a role in making the perfect Easter. Many people hit the grocery store looking pick up their last minute additions to Easter dinner. Eggs, of course, were a popular item both for eating and for decorating. Some shoppers had less traditional food menus, including homemade noodles. When we asked these shoppers about the most essential Easter foods, one item stood out among the rest.
“Obviously, you gotta have a ham. A good ham dinner,” says Nick Gotschall, Airman shopping for Easter brunch.
“Ham!” says Carlie Kuhnhenn, child shopping with her mom.
“Ham, deviled eggs, obviously the majority ham. Mashed potatoes, gravy, stuff like that,” says Kylar Sharp, college student.
Although some stores will be closing their doors Easter Sunday, most grocery stores will be open at normal hours if you forget something on your list.
