A 47-year-old Washburn man was driving his 1992 Chevy Pickup north on Highway 1804. In front of the pickup was a 2007 Chevy Impala. Two teenage boys from Bismarck were in the Impala.
The Impala began to turn west, the Pickup passed the Impala and sideswiped it. As a result, the pickup overturned and the driver was ejected.The driver of the Chevrolet Pickup was transported by Ambulance to Sanford Hospital for injuries sustained in this crash.
He was not wearing any safety restraints at the time of the accident.
The accident took place on Highway 1804 near mile marker 89 on Saturday around 8:30 p.m.
This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol
