Before a grand opening, small business owners have to take care of a long checklist.
In many cases, that start up takes place while the new owner is still working full-time elsewhere.
A group of volunteers want to help ease that transition.
The Service Corps of Retired Executives — or SCORE — is hosting a small business workshop tomorrow (Thursday) evening.
The workshop will focus on financing options, success stories and the steps toward taking the leap into business ownership.
(Joe Lukach, SCORE Advisor) “A lot of people have to be reminded to be patient with themselves because their ideas are super. Let it develop and find the right time and the right niche. It’s a constant changing world and all of the sudden you’re up and going.”
The free workshop will be held at the Minot Public Library on Thursday at 7pm.
