People are celebrating today’s Big Game in towns both large and small across the country.
In the tiny town of Makoti, where there’s only a little more than a hundred people – several made the annual trek to the school auditorium to escape the cold and celebrate football’s favorite Sunday, together. People brought in their favorite foods and lawn chairs to get comfy and enjoy the game on a big screen.
“I think it’s a perfect example of what America can be and should be. You know, you have these small towns and people just show up and they support each other and we have fun,” says Dar Huus, Makoti Watch Party Hostess.
And a big shout out to those guys: the support goes outside the town as well. They ended up missing the first part of the game to help dig our reporter out of the snow after she got stuck.
