About 2,500 Farm Service Agency (FSA) offices will temporarily reopen in the next coming days in order to perform limited functions for farmers and ranchers.
The USDA announces the offices will open Thursday, January 17th, Friday January 18th, and Tuesday January 22nd.
The North Dakota offices that will open are:
- Devils Lake
- Grand Forks
- Park River
FSA staffers will help farmers and ranchers process payments made on or before December 31st of 2018, continue expiring financing statements and will open mail to help identify priority items.
Also, staff can sign checks jointly payable to FSA that are brought to county offices.
