The rain the region received yesterday evening did some damages to farms in Sherwood.
The area received almost 5 inches of rain in less than an hour.
We spoke to a farmer who’s canola and wheat fields were submerged.
He says 150 acres of his crops could be a total loss.
“The water is probably as high as we’ve ever seen it here –it did a lot of crop damage and the area that it hit it damaged it pretty good,” said Dan Lakefield
Even the crops that were not underwater still face damage because of all the mud left from the heavy rain.
