The race for the senate seat is tight, with Kevin Cramer leading recent polls at 51%. Both candidates have had a busy weekend, campaigning for your vote.
Heidi Heitkamp made a stop at Minot State for a Q&A session with the students. Topics included student loans, entrepreneurship, and making compromises that benefit the entire state.
One student said that, as a Republican, it was important to him to attend the event so he can make an informed decision for his first time at the polls.
“I wanted to see what her perspective, you know, on the opposite, kind of, party perspective. I wanted to see what her viewpoint of certain problems in North Dakota or America, in that fact,” says Christopher Scott, MSU Freshman.
Heitkamp and Cramer will be facing off in a third debate this Friday in Fargo.
