Bismarck tops the list of 2018’s Top 10 Booming College Towns, according to a data survey by financial website CardRates.com.

High employment growth – 12.2 percent – coupled with a median household income more than 4 percent above the national average are among the factors in Bismarck’s #1 standing.

“Graduates of Bismarck State College and the University of Mary seeking employment can take comfort in knowing they’re already in a city with thousands of jobs waiting to be filled,” the survey noted. “Bismarck was recently ranked among Livability’s Top 100 Best Places to live.”
