When it comes to the best colleges and universities nationwide, North Dakota’s higher education institutions fall above the middle of the list.
That’s according to a data survey by personal finance website, WalletHub, which surveyed 951 colleges and universities nationwide.
WalletHub used 30 measures such as student-faculty ratio, graduation rates, post-school salaries and others to rank the nation’s higher ed schools.
North Dakota’s institutions fall around the 400 mark on the list — above average out of the 951 schools rated.
Minot State University ranked the highest of North Dakota’s schools on the list, coming in at 398th.
WalletHub also ranked North Dakota’s colleges and universities, based on its 30 measures of performance. The top seven, in order, are: Minot State University, University of Mary, University of Jamestown, Valley City State University, University of North Dakota, North Dakota State University and Dickinson State University.
