Suspect arrested in Friday night homicide in Minot

News

Minot Police say they’ve arrested the suspect in a murder that happened Friday in Minot.

The 28-year-old suspect, Christopher Vickerman is a Minot resident.

He is expected to be charged with AA felony murder in connection to the Friday night shooting in NW Minot.

The suspect is the son of the victim. The victim was named by Police Saturday as 55-year-old Mark Vickerman.

The investigation is still continuing according to Minot Police and an autopsy is scheduled for the victim.

The suspect is being held at the Ward County Jail.

Minot Police say they’d like to thank the community for their assistance in the last two days.
