Bismarck recently launched a strategic planning effort named, “Call for Projects.”
City leaders want proposals and concepts for community projects in a variety of areas that will benefit the Bismarck area.
The purpose is to engage the community and address issues such as homelessness, growth and development, and more.
“Anybody or any group or team that is proposing a project and meets the evaluation criteria, they will have an opportunity to pitch that idea to the city commissioners,” says Bismarck Assistant City Administrator Jason Tomanek. “Often times, we would consider this as an elevator pitch or something like a “Shark Tank” scenario where people can come in and lay it all out.”
If you think you have an idea or project that can benefit the community, you need to submit your proposal by May 31 at 4:00 p.m.
