The world famous Frisbee dogs

It’s back by popular demand….

“It was amazing”.

‘I liked it when he made him catch two frisbees”.

These are world famous dogs.

“We travel around the world performing with our dogs demonstrating what they can do once you’ve adopted them and bring them into your homes,” said trainer Lawrence Federick.

Each one of them has their own unique story.

“We have some dogs that were homeless dogs, we got some that have come out of breed specific rescue some out of animal control out of shelters,” said Federick.

This year they’ve brought 13 of their dogs, and each show features different ones.

“I liked when he jumped over his head”.

Federick has been in the business for 50 years — he tells me he can’t see himself doing anything else.

“I think that we as humans in our society owe it to the animals that we domesticated to take care of them –and I think that’s that message that I always try to share with everybody”.

The K9’s don’t pick up the skill to catch a Frisbee over night.

“Adults three to six months, puppies at least a year,” said Federick.

and once they’ve got the hang of it, hey do things like this.

Fredrick and his amazing dogs hope to be back next year.
