Three Charged in Death Of Seven-Month-Old in Arnegard

Three people are facing felony charges in the death of a seven-month-old child in Arnegard in August.

The Arnegard Police report James Miller, Junior, was at home during the time of the child’s medical event on August First, and has been charged with negligent homicide and child neglect.

The child’s grandparents, James Miller, Senior, and Vicki Miller, are each charged with child neglect.

Police say the charges are the result of an autopsy conducted by the state medical examiner after the child was reported unresponsive.

All the charges are class-C felonies, carrying a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

The three were arrested Friday are due in court for their initial appearance on November 28th.
