Good Thursday morning! While the morning starts out in the 50s, highs will warm to the 80s later today under a mostly clear sky. Wind will come from the southeast around 5-15 mph. Tonight, mostly clear with warm lows in the 50s and 60s. A slight chance for an early morning shower or thunderstorm in the north for Friday morning. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a marginal and slight risk for severe weather for most of northern North Dakota for Friday afternoon through the evening. Potential record-breaking highs on Friday with widespread mid to upper 90s. Wind will strengthen to around 15-25 gusting to 30 mph out of the southeast.
Wind stays strong into Saturday with widespread 80s and a partly sunny sky. Looking ahead, we cool for next week with relief on the way in the form of rain. Almost every day next week will carry a chance for rain and storms bringing much needed moisture.
